Open for Business Invitation
Excitement around the grand opening of the new $41 million Lundquist College of Business building was palpable. To take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the College wanted an invitation to match the grandeur of the event.
The invitation was designed to meet three goals: to reflect the College’s key messages (innovation and transformation), to celebrate the event and to motivate people to attend the ceremony. Alice Sundstrom and her team worked with an expert printer to determine how to accomplish her creative vision for the piece. This close vendor relationship allowed the team to create a unique piece that added to the excitement building up to the opening.
Event attendance was more than three times the expected number. The invitation was also featured in national trade publications and local media, resulting in an unexpected bonus for the College’s marketing efforts.
